CollegeCouncil: Enduring Excellence For More Than 12 Years
There is one key step on the road to successful student body internationalization and diversification. And this is growing a healthy partnership between education providers and qualified student recruitment agents.
That is why today we launch a special new interactive series, Meet The Agent, which will be a space where we will present select international education agents and consultants from around the world. These experts will not simply be showcasing their skills and experience. More importantly, they will reveal the vital role they play in the bigger picture. Namely, creating a world where people can access and enjoy truly relevant, rewarding and fulfilling study abroad experiences.
Meet CollegeCouncil
Our first guest is CollegeCouncil – a German agency we visited together with educators during ETN Focus Workshop Berlin 2016, which took place at the end of this October.
CollegeCouncil has been working as an independent, non-profit international education consultancy for more than 12 years now. Their vision and mission is to promote international understanding and expand the horizons of international education and knowledge.
Watch our interview with Dr. Kurt Gamerschlag, Director of CollegeCouncil and Chairman of AASAP – Association of American Study Abroad Programs in Germany, e.V. below:
CollegeCouncil’s small team have been involved in international exchange for many years. They all have extensive expertise as consultants and intermediaries for training and further education abroad, as managers and administrators in the practical implementation of exchange programmes, or as project managers for various international conferences and education workshops.
The agency offers a wide range of short-term study and work abroad opportunities in mostly English-speaking countries. Current and prospective students, graduates, trainees and young professionals receive expert individual or group consultations tailored to their needs. In addition, CollegeCouncil provides invaluable assistance with visa, insurance, financing, transport, tests, proof of performance, as well as admission to technical colleges and higher education institutions abroad.
